Recognising and responding to concerns

Signs of Abuse or Neglect: Be aware of signs of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse or neglect. This may include unusual behavior, injuries, or changes in the child’s demeanor.
Mandatory Reporting: If you suspect a child is being abused or is at risk, you are legally required to report it to the appropriate authorities. STEM Tech Club and the school will have clear reporting procedures in place.
Confidentiality: When dealing with safeguarding issues, maintain confidentiality, sharing information only with the necessary school or company personnel and relevant authorities.
